Voices and Visions is brought to
you by the Montmorency County
Public Library, Lewiston Friends of the Library, Atlanta Schools, Hillman
Schools, Johannesburg-Lewiston Schools and other volunteers.
We are hoping to make
Voices and Visions an annual poetry and art competition for adults and all
school age children in Montmorency County.
Thanks for the generous donations from local
businesses and Lewiston Friends of the Library getting us launched our
first year.
Awards will be
offered in both the poetry and art categories in each age division:
Preschool / Kindergarten, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-12, and adult. The special
art topic category age divisions will be p - 4, 5-8, high school -
adult.
Attendees at the
awards night and show on March 13th will vote for their favorite special
art topic entry from a selection of juried entries in this category. You may enter both the art
and poetry categories: one submission in each category. You may also
in addition to entering the poetry and art categories enter an artwork in
the special art category "Why did the chicken cross the road?".
A chapbook of poetry, featuring the winning
entries, will also be available for purchase.

to attend.
